It's All About Notes

Making Sense with Scents

When it comes seeing, it's connect with our vision. When it comes to hearing, it's connect with our ears, and of course when it comes to our scent of smells it's connected with our nose.
The senses of smell is so powerful because it ties so closely to our memories and the way we feel. The senses of smell can be associate with certain object and even places.

Did you know that each scents is also known as "Notes." There are three types of notes: top, middle and bottom.
Top notes are the very first scent. Just think about whenever you open a bottle that first whiff you smell is known as the top notes. This usually stick around for a few minutes follow by the middle notes.

Middle notes: This note last a little longer than the top notes. This can last from a few minutes to a few hours. When this began to fade away it is follow by the base/bottom notes.

Bottom notes: This is the last of the notes and this is where you really smell the fragrance. This last until there is no more scent left in the candle.

So when it comes to buying candles read carefully the notes you really want to smell. Also you can pick according to the arrangement of notes of fragrances you love to have in your home.
